Jackson Leon Crowder
So the last couple of weeks there hasn't been much going on. We are settling in the house still and working on it. Justin's birthday was Monday, the 28th, so Happy Birthday again Justin! We got to go out to eat with his mom and his brother. It's not very often that happens anymore. I remember when I first met Justin the 3 of them used to go out to eat every single night and I was always like that's so cool! hahaha. Anyway, we did finally agree on the baby's name and it will be Jackson Leon Crowder. No more Cletus yay! I wanted the baby to have Justin's initials without being a Jr. and I have always love the name Jackson. Thank you Steel Magnolias! lol. My last Dr.'s appt. was last Tuesday. I actually had 2 and they both went great. One was for the Down Syndrome and they measured the baby's heart and almost every part of his body and they said that everything looked fine so I do not have to go back to that Dr. As of last week Jackson weighed 1 pound and 9 ounces. The nurse couldn't get a measurement for how long he was because he was folded in half. His feet were touching the top of his head. He already looks just like Justin. My second appt. was with my regular Dr. and I had to take my glucose test. It wasn't bad at all and I passed, yay! So, things are going good right now Hallelujah! My next appt. is when I have to get my shot for my blood type being O negative. Another bump in the road but it could be so much worse! That's all for this week I think.
How far along? 25 weeks
Maternity clothes? I definitely need more!
Best moment this week? Going to Outback for Justin's birthday and getting some much needed good steak!! hahaha
Food craving? Nothing in particular but I'm trying to diet a little bit
Baby's gender? Still a boy and looks like his daddy already!
Labor signs? Definitely not!
What I miss: Getting comfortable and being able to have normal dreams!
What I'm looking forward to: Holding my baby :)
Daddy's Thoughts: Stressing about getting everything ready in time for the baby.
Mommy's Thoughts: Stressing too but I just have to remember that it will all be worth it when he gets here.

23 Weeks
Okay I know I have been slacking the past couple of weeks but so much has been going on and it's impossible to get to my computer. Justin and I are now officially moved into our new- well new to us home. It still needs ALOT of work but alot has gotten done on it. Justin and his dad and my best friends boyfriend, Luis, have put alot of time and energy into the house and Justin and I are really so grateful to have such caring people around us. So thanks again everyone who has helped or just come over to say hey! hahaha. Our next project is to get started on the baby's room. We still have not come up with a name so that's why his name is still baby. Right now we are still tryiing to settle in the house and I am starting to get things together for the baby shower. It seemed to take forever to get here and now all of a sudden the days are just flying by. I can't believe we are actually going to have a kid in a few months. Whoa!

What I miss: Just being able to move around easier and not getting so tired so quickly

Little update on the baby
So last Thursday my dr. called and told me that my screening for down syndrome came back positive and that I had a 1 in 111 chance that my baby would have down syndrome. He said those are the same odds for a woman who is 35. So anyway this past Wednesday I went to the dr.'s so that they could do an ultrasound to measure the baby and look at the heart. Apparently down syndrome babies tend to be smaller then normal babies. The dr. said that the baby looked perfect but that's still not a guarantee that it won't have down syndrome. The only guarantee way for me to know is if I had an amniocentesis. That's where they stick a needle in my belly and pull out some amniotic fluid to test for chromosome defects. The amniocentesis can result in miscarriage but it's not a common thing. However, as of right now I do not plan on having it done. I am worried that my baby may have down syndrome but I would rather find out after it is born than to have an unhappy pregnancy. I know I will love this baby no matter what but it is hard to take in. I wasn't suppose to find out what I was having until next Monday but since they did the ultrasound they did let me know that it is a boy. Oh and I can't feel it all the time but he moves like crazy! Through the whole ultrasound he wouldn't stop moving! lol. So for now things look okay. I have to go back in 4 weeks so they can take another look at the heart since it will be bigger. In the meantime I would just ask everyone to pray for this baby. I just want him to be healthy and happy. Here is a little more information about the prenatal testing for down syndrome in case anyone is interested. http://www.ds-health.com/prenatal.htm

Changing my blog a little bit
Okay so awhile back Nicole sent me a link to a woman that is on blogger and she was pregnant. The woman updated her blog every week with the same questions and it gives you a good idea on how much things can change during your pregnancy. So I will be doing that with my blog for a little while to see how it goes. So far it just seems like nothing is happening and everything is going by so slow. I don't have any recent pictures yet, (not that I want everyone to see me getting bigger!) but I will have some in the next few weeks. So here we go...
How far along? 18 weeks
Maternity clothes? I could probably use some right now but I'm not giving up on my regular clothes until I absolutely have to!
Best moment this week? Justin says he wants to get new phones this week!
Food craving? This week I want Life cereal and I really want some salad.
Baby's gender? We don't know yet but we find out on the 24th. I can't wait!!
Labor signs? Definitely not!
What I miss: Being able to squat! hahaha
What I'm looking forward to: Sarah and I are taking Mia to Disney on the 31st and I am sooo excited!
Daddy's Thoughts: Well he still thinks we are having a boy and he keeps calling it baby Cletus and it's driving me nuts!!! lol
Mommy's Thoughts: I just don't understand why I still can't feel any movement. I don't feel pregnant, I just feel like everything is swelling up.

It's been too long
Yes it has been like 50 years but I have just been doing so much other stuff and just got too behind. Okay so for Christmas Justin bought me a Shih Tzu that I named Tebow (yes I named him after the best, Tim Tebow!). Anyway he is getting so big now but he is my baby! Other than that we have just been hanging out with our friends or working.
Justin's mom recently got some horses, Sonny and Red. We have been over there a few times to help with them and Justin likes to ride. I tried to got on Sonny a few weeks ago and thought it would be a piece of cake and much to my surprise I got so scared out of nowhere. First I was scared to actually to get on because I thought I would hurt him and then when I did get on I was just so scared because I didnt really know what I was doing. Teresa, Greg, and Justin helped me as much as they could. Teresa walked around with us and calmed me down. However, I have learned that it's not as easy as it seems to ride a horse!
In other news, our lease for our apartment is up in July so these past few months we have been stressed on what we are going to do. So we finally decided that we are going to move into Justin's granny's house. It's an older house and needs alot of work but we are willing to put the work into it. It's right in front of his mom's house and it has a nice sized yard. The future plan is to rent to own this house and when we get in a better financial state we plan to buy the property and build a new house on it. We are so excited and relieved at the same time because it finally feels like we are starting our lives and investing our money instead of throwing it away. We also just bought another dog yesterday. He is 8 weeks old and we rescued him from Animal Care & Control which is sort of like the Humane Society. His name is Camo. So now we have 2 boys. I'm just going to put a few recent pics up. Maybe now I can get back on track and update this more!
Here is Tebow and Camo.
